FSSC 22000 Certification

In its Conventional Sugar Production line, it has implemented a Food Safety Management System (FSMS) based on the FOOD SAFETY SYSTEM CERTIFICATION 22000 (FSSC 22000) scheme, whose certification was obtained in October 2014 through the Certification Company SGS Paraguay.

This certification is a comprehensive commitment of the organization, which is why the decision was made to adhere to the most comprehensive standard in terms of Food Safety Management System, currently the FSSC 22000, as it fully incorporates ISO 22000, Prerequisite Programs (PRPs) such as ISO/TS 22002-1 and ISO/TS 22002, HACCP, and the implementation stages established in the Codex Alimentarius. Moreover, it is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).

The Certification of the FSSC 22000 Food Safety System covers key requirements of other existing food safety standards and programs, such as GMP, HACCP, SQF, BRC, IFS, and Global GAP.

This certification standard is the most comprehensive in terms of Food Safety and is based on standardized principles of safety across all food production chains.
