Environmental Management

Natural resources are at the heart of INPASA, with them the company can project its goals and achieve the expected success, what does not involve only the industry but rather a whole community that is at its back and also depends on all these resources the nature gives us.

In order to minimize the environmental impacts, INPASA acquired two turbogenerators with a total capacity to produce electric energy up to 15.000 kW/hour for the mill own use. It is a source of clean and sustainable low-cost energy.

Another prominent factor is the industrial water recycling, this operation prevents wastage and transform ethanol, sugar and DDGS into products of low environmental impact.

Environmental awareness is integrated to the principles of INPASA. All employees connected directly or indirectly to any area of the company, are trained to act as required by that principle, always prevailing the sustainability. This is the way that the activities of the productive process and all the steps of the company keep consonance with the environment.

Social Management

INPASA mission is to produce ethanol and sugar from sugar cane and cereals in an economic and sustainable manner. Generating 750 direct jobs and thousands more indirectly the organization prioritizes economic and social development, regionally and nationally as well.

The organization also gives priority to its purchase of raw materials (mainly maize and sorghum), produced in various Paraguayan regions. Other purchases also are prioritized in the local market; like: agricultural machinery, spare parts, fuels, lubricants and other inputs. Replacing in this way, the import of goods from neighbor countries such as Brazil, Argentina and Venezuela. This is a convenient practice to boost the local trade and the nation economy as well.

INPASA also contributes to the advancement of agricultural technology and the training for Human Resources professionals in Certified Institutions. The sugar cane growers are trained to carry out their activity in a practical and safe manner. Thus remarkable results are obtained by increasing productivity, both in industry and in crops. Moreover, collaborators and suppliers acquire better life quality.

Thus the INPASA contribution, is reflected positively in numerous benefits to itself and to all the sectors, locally and nationally, with relationships with the company. Thus, contributing to the country's socioeconomic impact. The environmental and social responsibility is clearly demonstrated by Inpasa through the care the company dispenses to the environment and the social projects on which it is engaged.
