Ethanol

Inpasa Ethanol (ETHYL ALCOHOL) is a renewable biofuel that helps diversify the energy matrix and reduce greenhouse gas emissions compared to fossil-based gasoline. In addition, its high octane rating supports efficient combustion, making it a strategic alternative for moving toward lower-carbon mobility.

At INPASA we mainly use corn and sorghum to produce grain alcohol in two forms: Anhydrous Alcohol (99.5° GL) and Hydrous Alcohol (95.10° GL).

Through our integrated production model, we also obtain crude corn oil and DDGS —distillers dried grains with solubles—, a co-product of high nutritional value used as a protein source for animal feed.
