Environmental Management
At Inpasa, natural resources are at the heart of our operation. They are the foundation on which we build our ideals and achieve sustainable results, with a positive impact on the entire community we are part of.
To minimize our environmental impact, we have two generators of our own with an installed capacity of up to 15,000 kWh, which allows us to produce part of our energy in a clean and self-sufficient way.
We also manage water use responsibly: the water used in ethanol and sugar production is treated and reused within the industrial process, preventing waste and contributing to a more efficient operation.
The waste and effluents generated at our plants are also treated under strict environmental standards, ensuring low-impact production.
We foster a culture of environmental awareness within the organization. Our employees are trained to act responsibly toward their surroundings, promoting a harmonious coexistence with the environment. This vision also extends to contractors and suppliers, with whom we share the commitment to preserving natural resources.
In this way, we consolidate an industrial model in which production and respect for the environment go hand in hand.
Social Management
With the mission of producing ethanol and sugar from grains and sugarcane in an economical, efficient and sustainable way, at Inpasa we prioritize economic and social development at both the regional and national levels.
We generate more than 750 direct jobs and thousands of indirect jobs, fostering the growth of the communities where we operate. We are committed to buying domestic raw material — mainly corn and sorghum — sourced from different regions of Paraguay, while also promoting the local purchase of agricultural machinery, spare parts, fuels, lubricants and other inputs. This energizes the domestic economy and strengthens local commerce.
We contribute to the modernization of agriculture through technology transfer and continuous training. Our partner farmers and sugarcane growers receive technical training to carry out their activities more efficiently, safely and productively, improving both their profitability and their families’ quality of life.
