Uses

Due to its lower purity, crude glycerol is used mainly in industrial manufacturing. It is not pure enough for use in the pharmaceutical industry or in food production: in that case, its purity would have to exceed 99.5%. Raw material for the Glycerin Distillation process and for specific applications defined by industry.
