Biodiesel

BIODIESEL is a liquid biofuel obtained from oils such as soybean, cotton, coconut, CORN, etc., whose physical and chemical characteristics make it suitable as a fuel that can be burned in diesel-cycle engines at 100% concentration or blended with petroleum-derived diesel. It is also known by its technical name FAME (fatty acid methyl ester).

Renewable biofuel that drives more sustainable mobility.

  • Renewable blend

It significantly reduces the main vehicle emissions, such as carbon monoxide and volatile hydrocarbons. Its production offers an alternative land use that prevents erosion and desertification.

It saves between 25% and 80% of the CO2 emissions produced by petroleum-derived fuels, making it an important element in reducing greenhouse gases generated by transportation. It also contains no sulfur compounds, so it does not release them as combustion gases.
